Using Local Children’s Data to Support Your Stories

Kidsdata.org (www.kidsdata.org) offers a wealth of local information on kids’ health and well being, on topics ranging from fitness scores to poverty rates to demographic trends. Find out how you can navigate these data and how they can help you cover issues affecting children in your community.

You also will have an opportunity to discuss some of the key issues that you see affecting children in the communities you cover, and to advise the foundation on how you’d like to hear about data on these issues.

Moderator: Sandy Close, Executive Director, New America Media

Felicity Ayles, Manager, Marketing & Online Communications, Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health
