The Hindu epic the Ramayana, has inspired many generations of Indians, but now it has inspired a Californian. Indian-American Sanjay Patel is an animator with Pixar who has worked on blockbusters like Monster Inc and Rataouille. But the Pixar animator and story board artist said he stumbled upon a treasure trove of the fantastic in a slightly older story written 2,500 years ago. Patel turned the epic into a graphic novel, Ramayana: Divine Loophole
