Two Korean men were arrested in New Jersey and charged with attempting to steal 1,400 gallons of used cooking oil from a local eatery last week, reports the Korea Times in San Francisco.

Byung-ho Choi, 55, and Young-gil Kim, 48, were apprehended after an employee with five Guys Burgers in North Bergen found the two men using a hose and an electric
generator to siphon off the oil. Recycled oil is often used in the manufacture of biodiesels, soap and rubber, with major manufacturers offering up to a dollar per gallon for the used product.
