CA Assembly OKs State DREAM Act
SACRAMENTO--The California State Assembly voted 46 to 25 in favor of the California Dream Act, which would allow undocumented students to qualify for financial aid and scholarships at California public universities. If signed into law, the measure would allot $32 million in Calgrants to undocumented students. The measure will now go to the State Senate, and if approved there, will be sent to Gov. Jerry Brown. Brown stated during his gubernatorial campaign that he supported the Dream Act.

Increase sales taxes, give money to citizens of other countries who scoff at our borders. Makes sense.

In todays world, can not see how a state can give money to anyone much less illegal people who would like to go to college. Many citizens today can not afford to go to college today. Seems we are cutting our own students and not helping our own citizens. Why is that? How can a illegal even get financial aid within our state of California when we are not able to even balance our own budget something is very wrong with a congress that would get even more debit to the state.
Sorry this is not even thinking straight, sorry the illegals are in our nation , but why does the state of California have to pay for them once again after hgih school. Do we really need this added cash?

This financial aid does not increase the debt of the state. And do not forgot that many scientist that come from other nations serve us well ,Einstien wasn't born American.
We need the highest brains in this country.
The future competition we will face against other countries ( China,Japan ect.) will not be easy, thus we need a higher percentage of educated people living in this country. America is a diverse country and that would give us an advantage since this people may bring other ways to thing based in their culture. Since when is education a waste of money?

This is just nuts! Why do we need cradle to grave "help" for ILLEGALS? CA is broke and does not need to spend money in this crazy manner.
