Attractive Black Women
The latest controversy surrounding evolutionary psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa's research focuses on an article he posted on the website of the journal Psychology Today in which he concludes that black women are less attractive than white, Asian, and Native American women. Host Shirin Sadeghi  discusses the controversy with Loretta Ross, founder and national coordinator of SisterSong: The Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective.

Chinese Criticism of Kung Fu Panda

This animated feature film broke box office records in 2008 and its sequel, Kung Fu Panda 2, is #1 at the box office in China, but not all Chinese are happy to see this film. A number of scholars, artists and intellectuals have taken exception to what they refer to as "the twisting of Chinese culture" in the film.
