He is a standup comedian and a radio personality, but DL Hughley is so much more. His political news program on CNN -- DL Hughley Breaks the News -- established him as a premier political commentator and keen observer of American government. And his in-your-face, ironic, yet hilarious comedy has kept him in the news, even after the show ended. He spoke with New America Now Host Shirin Sadeghi.

He will be performing at Cobb's Comedy Club this weekend.
