35 Bodies Dumped on Busy Street in Veracruz, Mexico
Police have identified seven of the victims so far, all of whom had criminal records and were linked to organized crime, Veracruz state Attorney General Reynaldo Escobar Perez told the AP. The Zetas drug cartel and other drug gangs have been fighting for control of the eastern state, which is many migrants travel through to go north.
