Brown MUST Veto this bill... We need MANDATORY E-VERIFY to protect us CITIZENS... IF BROWN DOES NOT VETO, HE IS SIMPLY TRYING TO GET MORE NEW DEMOCRATS... iLLEGALS WILL MAKE GOOD DEMOCRATS.

thats so dumb and ignorant the last to comments how is this going to keep "AMERICANS" out of jobs i ever see one " American" applying to clean the bathrooms to become janitors its amazing how people like to say "their" taking the jobs but in reality we all know "AMERICANS" dont want to be doing the dirty jobs they want to be in A/C offices a nice desk and view not looking at a toilet or mowing lawns for $8hrs.

What business would choose to use e-verify if it wasn't mandatory? Getting rid of their cheap illegal labor is not in their best interest. Big business doesn't care if our unemployed have jobs or that the rest of us are paying for benefits for illegals. The average illegal family is costing the rest of us $20,000 per year. Add to that the illegals who are taking a job belonging to a citizen.
I hope Calif passes it so more will leave my state and move to Calif. Less taxes for me.
