CUPERTINO, Calif.-- The death of Steve Jobs drew devotees to Apple's headquarters in Cupertino and his house in Palo Alto, including many Chinese Americans and Chinese tourists. According to Sing Tao Daily, numerous Chinese engineers and Chinese tourists brought flowers and apples to pay respect to Steve Jobs last night after learning of his death. Former Apple employee Guo Yan, an immigrant from Szechuan, China, brought his wife and child, who are both iPhone fans, to the informal memorial with him. He called Jobs his idol, and said he was inspired by Jobs’ passion to change the world for the better. Hua Ying, an immigrant from Hangzhou, China, came straight from work from Fremont and used her iPhone to record the memorial. She said she came to pay respect to Jobs, whose products created a cultural phenomenon.

Gee Han Kan, who lived in Palo Alto and worked at Apple for 12 years, joined the gathering at Job's residence with his wife and17-year-old son. He said Jobs would decorate his house with unique costumes every Halloween. Gee's son said he finished designing an app for iPhone and felt thankful to Jobs for inspiring his interest in software design.

I hope and wish that every adoptive mother will follow the good example of the ARMENIAN MOTHER Steve Jobs had. What a dedicated and loving human being to pave the path and instil in Steve all what made him who he is. Thanks Mrs. Jobs for giving him the education as promised . heidi kohler
