Arizona's Russell Pearce Faces Recall Today
If Sen. Russell Pearce loses today, his departure from office could be a warning to other politicians who have supported similar laws that criminalize undocumented immigrants in other parts of the country such as Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia.
The only challenger against Pearce for his District 18 seat in Mesa, is Jerry Lewis, a Mormon Republican who is seen as taking a more moderate stance on immigration.
In a survey conducted by the Arizona Capitol Times and ABC 15 (KNXV-TV), Lewis was slightly ahead with 46 percent compared to 43 percent.

Mr. Pearce, unjustice, prejudice and hatred can only last so long! Good bye.
