On Tuesday, January 24th, NAM and California Common Cause will co-host a briefing in Los Angeles where a coalition of good government, civil rights, and progressive organizations will brief ethnic and mainstream media on the current state of voting rights. Bob Edgar, President and CEO of Common Cause, will moderate a panel of speakers who will highlight recent changes to laws across the country created to suppress voter turnout and efforts to restore voting rights. Additionally, speakers will discuss recent developments in redistricting.
