8 Factors Show Mounting Pressures on CA’s Largest School Districts
WHAT: EdSource surveyed the state’s 30 largest school districts over a 9-month period on how they are responding to the budget crisis and the recession. Eight stress factors were identified to gauge where key pressure points are hitting local schools, from teacher layoffs to increasing poverty.
