The Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling upholding the health care reform law sparked a Twitter frenzy — and conflicting reports — from politicians to the media and regular citizens from both sides of the issue, reports Univision News. Democrats lauded the ruling as a victory for the American people, while Republicans said it amounted to an additional tax.

The ruling initially sparked confusion on Twitter with different media outlets reporting conflicting outcomes. CNN originally reported online and on air that the individual mandate had been struck down before retracting that statement and reporting, accurately, that the law was upheld.
