GUADALAJARA, Mexico -- Mexican presidential candidates avoided the subject of Mexican migrants in their second and last debate, which took place Sunday in Jalisco. The candidates played down the issue of Mexican migrants in the United States and practically ignored the subject of Central American migrants in Mexico, who have been victims of murder and abuse after crossing into the country, reports La Opinión.
