Mexicans Abroad Voted for PAN
MEXICO CITY -- While Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) candidate Enrique Peña Nieto claimed victory in Mexico's presidential election Sunday, Mexicans living abroad preferred National Action Party (PAN) candidate Josefina Vázquez Mota, reports La Opinión. Among Mexicans living abroad, PAN's Vázquez Mota got 42 percent of votes, four percentage points higher than Democratic Revlutionary Party (PRD) candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who got 38 percent of their votes.
