Health, Education Trump Economy for Latina Moms
A recent online survey found that health and education are more important to U.S. Latina mothers than the economy in determining who they are planning to vote for in the presidential election. The poll, which surveyed more than 300 Latina moms in September, was conducted by the website BabyCenter en Español. A majority of Latina moms said they were more confident in President Barack Obama when it came to restoring the nation’s economy. BabyCenter en Español is partnering with the non-partisan organization Voto Latino to encourage Latina moms to vote on Nov. 6, part of their initiative Elections 2012: Mamás a votar!
