Vigil Honors Teacher Who Died Defending Her Students
Hundreds of people gathered at a vigil this weekend in Stratford, Connecticut to honor the life of Victoria Soto, a teacher who died while defending her students in the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown. Attendees held candles and made an improvised altar in honor of the beloved teacher. Vicki Soto, 27, has been called by witensses a true heroine in a tragedy that left 20 children and six adults dead last week.
