Poll: Bipartisan Support for Immigration Reform
A new bipartisan poll finds high levels of support among U.S. voters for immigration reform that combines a path to earned citizenship with measures to avoid future flows of undocumented immigrants and greater accountability for employers. The poll was conducted by Public Opinion Strategies, a Republican polling firm, and Hart Research Associates, a Democratic firm.
The national survey of 1,003 registered voters, sponsored by Service Employees International Union, America's Voice Education Fund, and National Immigration Forum, showed voters wanting a long-term fix for the immigration system that includes a path to citizenship for the country's undocumented immigrants.
