Univision, ABC Launch 'Fusion' for English-Language Latinos

A new player in English-language Latino televeision launched this week. Fusion, a joint venture of Univision and ABC, aims to appeal to one of the fastest-growing consumer markets in the United States: English-speaking Latinos between the ages of 18 and 34. Fusion launched Monday with a special edition of “America with Jorge Ramos,” featuring interviews with President Obama and  Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas. The channel represents the first English-language channel by Spanish-language media giant Univision Communications.
