Around 7 a.m. Thursday, hundreds of people flocked to a Samsung factory in Yen Binh Industrial Park, Pho Yen district, Thai Nguyen outside of Hanoi to 'protest' because of a miniscule reason.

Some people said that a construction worker went through the factory gates of Samsung project Taiyuan the night before (Yen Binh Industrial Park, Pho Yen district, Thai Nguyen) but he was not wearing his ID card and was blocked.

The two sides quarreled and it led to a scuffle that caused one person to be hospitalized.

The situation became chaotic today when another 3,000-4,000 workers attacked the security guards, burned the headquarter that housed the security forces and the local police in the Samsung factory area.

The clashes sent three more people to the hospital, including a woman security guard who is reportedly in critical condition. The number of protestors increased and security forces have been mobilized ... but they remain helpless given the large number of people who showed up.
