IN time for his last match on April 9 against Timothy Bradley, Manny Pacquiao has received a medical clearance, after undergoing shoulder surgery that forced him out of the ring for almost a year.

Pacquiao underwent arthroscopic surgery for a tear on his rotator cuff on May 6, 2015, just days after the ‘Fight of the Century’ against Floyd Mayweather, Jr., who won by unanimous decision.

“Manny is 100 percent medically cleared, it’s a complete clearance from the doctor,” Top Rank Promotions chief Arum said, according to The Manila Times. “That doctor [Neal ElAttrache] was the one who performed Manny’s shoulder operation in May last year.”

Pacquiao and Bradley, who will meet in the ring for the third time this April at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, were on a media tour this week, starting in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday, Jan. 13 and ending at Madison Square Garden in New York on Thursday, Jan. 21.

Before heading to New York, Pacquiao had a check-up with ElAttrache in Los Angeles.

“Ready to go, ready to fight,” The People’s Champ told reporters on Tuesday, adding that that the examination only took “15 to 20 minutes.”
